This is my go to drink when I’m feeling sniffly or straight up suffering from a cold or flu! I’m a believer in the healing powers of water. Lots of people have shared their own versions of this drink with me, but this is the one that works for me. It’s star anise, ginger, and cassia bark / cinnamon added to a pan of water and boil, boil, boil away… I like to add a tiny bit of honey / maple syrup to mine for sweetness, but if you can take it neat, go for it! You can store it in a reusable bottle for about 24 hours – dilute with water if required – and it’s great for the whole family too
